New Addition to Redwood City – Crossing 900

The Redwood City Crossing 900 project is the largest development since the completion of the Theatre Way project in 2006. Adjacent to the Redwood City Caltrain station on Middlefield Road, this project will influence a great draw of large corporations, newer retailers and an abundance of parking. This project will allow access from Sequoia Station shopping center, CalTrain, and Downtown Redwood City, making it easy for commuters to get around without a vehicle.

Consisting of approximately 300,000 square foot Class A office space, an estimated 5,000 square feet of retail/restaurant space and more than 900 parking spaces, Redwood City Crossing 900 will accommodate up to 1,000 employees. With this city upgrade in the works, the goal is to attract new businesses that will help increase the economic stability of Redwood City.

As a resident of Redwood City, I look forward to the positive attention this construction will bring. Redwood City Crossing 900 is exactly the project this city needs to regain exposure and draw in the surrounding communities. Adding an additional bit of urban feel in a quaint and historic downtown will encourage revamping of residential neighborhoods, schools, parks and so much more. Already voted “Climate Best By Government Test,” maybe these updates will eventually add it to the list of “Best Places to Live in the U.S.” as well – I certainly think it’s one of the best places!
